Q: How do I rent a room with the LECRC?
A: Please call the centre at 902-829-2512 or email lakeechorec@gmail.com with your date, time and room request.

​Q: How do I pay for my rental once I have my invoice?
A: Once you have confirmed a date with us, you’ll be emailed your rental agreement and invoice.
Please refer to your email for agreement signing and payment instructions.

Q: My plans have changed, and I need to cancel my rental. How do I do that?
A: If you need to cancel your rental for any reason, simply call the office, send us an email, or reply to the booking email you received! We can help you re-schedule, or refund you for your rental if possible!

Cancellation Policy
The renter shall have 3 business days from the date of booking to review the invoice and rental terms and conditions. After that time, the booking deposit shall become non-refundable.
i. If the renter cancels 5 days or more before the date of rental, LECRS will refund the rental fees paid, less than the non-refundable booking deposit.
ii. If the renter cancels with less than 5 days’ notice, no refund will be made.
iii. LECRS reserves the RIGHT TO CANCEL this booking in the event of a breach of conditions, Regulations are not followed, or it is the opinion of LECRS the premises are not being used for the purpose specified.
iv. In the event of an emergency CLOSURE by the LECRS, management cannot be held responsible for the lack of a facility to hold the renter’s function. Full Refund will be issued.
v. LECRS will be having substantial building renovations in 2025/ 2026. LECRS reserves the RIGHT TO CANCEL this booking based on construction work within the building. Management cannot be held responsible for the lack of a facility to hold the renter’s function. Full Refund will be issued.

​Q: I rented the gym for a birthday party. Can we use the kitchen to store food/drink? What about using the stove and cooking?
A: So long as the kitchen isn’t in use at the same time as your rental, you can ask the front office to unlock the kitchen for access to the fridge and freezer to store your food! Use of the stove to cook large meals is not permitted unless you have also rented the kitchen for your function.

Q: Can we arrive early to our birthday party rental to set up?
A: With our Birthday Party Package, you will find it is listed as 3 hours. This is broken down as: half an hour for setup beginning at the listed starting time on your agreement, 2 hours for the party itself, and then half an hour before your end time to clean up. If you need more time to set up, please contact the office for availability. Additional charges will apply.

Q: Can I get my cleaning deposit back the same day as my rental?
A: If a staff member is present at the end of your rental, a cleaning check will be performed before you leave. If the rented space(s) are sufficiently cleaned, they will return your deposit at this time. If there is not a staff present at the end of your rental, we will be in touch on Monday regarding refunding the deposit. If the space(s) rented are not sufficiently cleaned as required in the rental contract, your cleaning deposit will not be refunded.

​Q: Are there tables and chairs available at the facility?
A: Yes! Renters are permitted to use the chairs and tables located within the equipment room in the gymnasium. We expect all chairs and tables to be neatly re-stacked (and wiped down, if need be!) at the end of your rental!
